  <abstract>The developments of life sciences not only add much indeed to knowledge about living organisms, including man, but also make it possible to enter and act upon them in an ever increasingly extensive and incisive manner. In many bilological precesses that followed their own dynamics in the past, action on the part of man is now able to bring about substatial changes.
